About Me




Jill Sterling-Erman has been a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist and Board Certified Art Therapist in private practice since 1997.  She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Illinois and a Master’s degree in Marital and Family Therapy – Clinical Art Therapy from Loyola Marymount University.  She specializes in working with people going through life transitions, guiding them to reach their goals.  Her practice is client centered, using art modalities to help her clients to express their feelings and follow their inner voice.  As a guide, Jill helps her clients to find their way to live out their life dreams.

Jill Sterling-Erman is a MFT that maintains a private practice in Seal Beach, California.

With over 20 years experience as a marriage and family therapist, and as a graduate of Loyola Marymount University specializing in client-centered art psychotherapy, she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are Art Therapy, Grief and Loss Therapy, and Supervisoin of Marriage and Family Therapy Interns.

Jill is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her practiced therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
